Your Crisisbuddy tells you what to do when you can`t handle your situation. Crisisbuddy is meant for young adults who have to deal with extreme emotions and who have a hard time finding the correct behaviour in hard situations. The Crisisbuddy can be used under supervision, but this is not mandatory.
This “crisis app” displays an overview of your skills and exercises you can do to help yourself. You can add exercises and use these to create your own signalising plan, but Crisisbuddy already contains a lot of standard mindfulness exercises.
All the information, such as emotions, tendencies to certain behaviour, skills and contact with your therapist (or other people you trust) are clearly displayed. The app is compatible with your tablet and your mobile telephone. You can take it with you anywhere you go!
The app uses elements from the treatment method DGT (Linehan therapy). To read more about this method, you can visit www.karakter.com
The Crisisbuddy is part of DGDigitaal. A product that consists of the Crisisbuddy, the Serious Game and instruction videos. And is developed by Jacomijn Jacobs and Rob Reijnen.

To install CrisisBuddy on your iOS device, just click the green Continue To App button above to start the installation process. The app is listed on our website since 2020-04-20 and was downloaded 6 times. How to install CrisisBuddy on your iOS device:
- Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.
- Once the CrisisBuddy is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After CrisisBuddy is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
